Migrant boat collides with cargo ship off Turkish coast, 13 dead

Thirteen migrants have drowned off the coast of Turkey after a rubber boat carrying them to Greece collided with a cargo ship.

The boat had left a Turkish coast with 46 people on board.

Six of those killed were children, while 20 others were rescued, the search continues to find 13 missing people.

Meanwhile, tensions ran high at a border crossing between Croatia and Slovenia on Sunday as hundreds of migrants were blocked from entering Slovenia.

After spending three days waiting near the Croatian village of Harmica, some of the migrants lost their patience and took out their anger on Slovenian riot police, yelling at them and kicking the fence blocking their entry.
